Employer eServices Overview
The Employer eServices module in Interact SSAS provides employers with an intuitive and secure platform to manage their social security obligations. This comprehensive module allows employers to handle registrations, contribution filings, benefit claims, payments, compliance, and delinquency matters efficiently, reducing administrative burdens and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Access and Dashboard
- Login page for secure access to the SSAS portal
- Activity dashboard displaying pending tasks, contribution details, penalties, payments, and notifications
- Profile management for updating employer contact details and employee records
Employer Registration & Compliance
- Application for Employer Social Security Registration Number (ESSRN)
- Application for Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Employer profile management, including business details, banking information, and industry classification
- Employee registration applications for reviewing and approval
- Compliance management for installment agreements, lawsuit notifications, and court orders
Contribution Management
- Submission of contribution filings for employees with editing for changes/exceptions only
- Importing of contribution filings for employees
- Contribution remittance and adjustments for corrections
- Processing of contribution payments
- Requests for contribution refunds due to incorrect or overpaid contributions
- Overview of outstanding contribution liabilities
Benefit Claim Management
- Verification and approval of employee benefit claims, including:
- Sickness benefits
- Maternity benefits
- Employment injury claims
- Other social security benefits
- Certification of confinement for maternity-related claims
- Submission and tracking of grievances related to benefit processing
- Updating of claims with last-day-worked information and/or sickness pay paid and request for refund
KYC Updates
- Respond to KYC update requests
- Submit KYC responses by completing information and uploading documents
Financial & Payment Management
- Management and updating of bank account details for payments
- Submisison of payments for pending liabilities
- Viewing and settlement of penalties for late filings or payments
Document Management
- UploadING and managing of required documents for compliance, benefit claims, and registration
- Submission of KYC updates to ensure compliance with social security regulations
Penalties Management
- Employers can view Penalty Invoices issued by SSA for infractions or compliance violations
- Employers can view Penalty History
- Employers can pay the Penalties thorugh the portal
Payables Management
- Employers can see payments approved by the SSA which relate to them
Receivables Management
- Employers can view invoices issued by the SSA for items other than contributions or penalties
- Employers can pay the invoices using their standard payment method through the portal
Delinquency & Compliance Tracking
- Monitoring and resolution of delinquency requests and removal requests
- Management of audit actions and audit action notices and responses to legal notices
- Tracking of lawsuits and court orders related to social security obligations
Employee Management
- Maintenance of employee records and employment history
- Termination processing by setting employment end dates
- Maintenance of employee information such as job details, tenure, wages, and employment status
Employer Management
- Employers can view their Status through Employer Management
- Employers who have been set to Inactive can submit Activate Employer Requests in which they can include additional documents and information.
Integration with Other Modules
- Compliance management for informing about court orders, compliance audits and arrears installment agreements
- Case management for tracking social security-related cases and information requests
- KYC management for responding to KYC update requests
- Messaging for receiving messages from SSA
- Financial reporting and GL interface for seamless financial tracking
