SSA supports closing period function which allows users to close the Filing Period, update Credits Earned and Transfer any unprocessed Transactions to the next Filing Period.
By Closing a Period and based on setup, the credit units will be displayed in Employees’ profile and Employees’ contributions statements.
Overview
Upon Pressing “Close” button, the system shows the transaction counts (Number of Employers with their status involved at each stage) for Filing and Payment.
