Delayed Contribution Payments Penalties Processing

Depending on the Social Security Laws and Regulations in effect at any given time, the Social Security Administration may impose Penalties not only for the Delayed Filing of Contributions but also for the Delayed Payment of Contributions.

These Penalties can only be assessed after all Payments have been processed of course as that is the only point at which the system will be able to flag those Employers who definitely have not yet Paid or have Paid Late.

The Delayed Contribution Payments Penalties Processing will check all the Payments and list those which are Delayed and allow the Social Security Administration in a simple process to impose Penalties based on the setup configuration for Penalties.  The configuration will determine whether Penalties should be calculated as a flat fee or percentage and whether a percentage should apply to the full amount or the unpaid balance only, etc.

The Delayed Contribution Payments Penalties Processing enables the user also to notify the Employer through a message via email and on the Employer’s e-Services portal.

Overview

The Social Security Administration User can select one or more specific Employer(s) to Generate their Delayed Contribution Payment Penalties.
